  1. Uninstall Instructions for Roxie's Reading Fish
  2. -----------------------------------------------

  4. PLEASE NOTE:  If you are installing the registered version
  5. of "Roxie's Reading Fish" you do NOT need to uninstall the
  6. shareware version first.  The "Roxie's Reading Fish" install
  7. program will copy over your old files and program icons with
  8. new ones.
  9.  
  10. Uninstalling "Roxie's Reading Fish" from your hard drive is 
  11. simple.  There are two main steps: 1)  deleting the program 
  12. icon from your windows desktop and 2) deleting the program 
  13. files from your hard drive.  
  14.  
  15. However, you need to know first if "Roxie's Reading Fish" 
  16. is the only LatticeWork Software program installed.  To do 
  17. this, in Windows, double-click on your LatticeWork Software 
  18. icon.  If "Roxie's Reading Fish" is the only program item in
  19. LatticeWork Software, go to A)  Uninstalling the program and
  20. the LatticeWork Software group.  If, however, you have other
  21. LatticeWork Software installed, and wish to uninstall only
  22. "Roxie's Reading Fish", go to B) Uninstalling the program
  23. but not the LatticeWork Software group.

  28. A)  UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM AND THE LATTICEWORK SOFTWARE GROUP
  29.  
  30.     1.  Delete the program group and program icon
  31.         a.  From Windows, click just ONCE on the LatticeWork
  32.                 Software icon, to highlight it.  Do not open the
  33.                 group.  You should see the LatticeWork Software
  34.                 icon, but you should not see the "Roxie's Reading
  35.                 Fish" Icon.  If you see the "Roxie's Reading Fish"
  36.                 icon, close the group by pressing Ctrl-F4.  If
  37.                 you see a pop-up menu above the LatticeWork 
  38.                 Software icon, click anywhere else on the screen
  39.                 to close the menu.
  40.         b.  When the LatticeWork Software icon is highlighted,
  41.                 press the Delete key (or select File/Delete).  You
  42.                 will be asked "Are you sure you want to delete the
  43.                 group 'LatticeWork Software'?"  Click on 'Yes.'
  44.     2.  Delete the program files from your hard drive
  45.         a.  From Windows, double-click on the 'Main' group.
  46.                 Then double-click on 'File Manager.'  Find the
  47.                 directory where the LatticeWork Software directories
  48.                 exist.  If you used the default when installing the 
  49.                 program, the directories will be in:
  50.             c:\lattice
  51.         b.  Highlight the c:\lattice directory.  Do this by first
  52.                 clicking on the 'c' near the top of the inner window
  53.                 of the File Manager.  Click once on 'lattice.'  You
  54.                 may need to scroll down the list of directories to do so.
  55.         c.  When 'lattice' is highlighted, press the Delete key
  56.                 (or select File/Delete).  You will see a dialog box
  57.                 asking if you wish to Delete c:\lattice?  Click on OK.
  58.         Then you will see two more dialog boxes.  Click on
  59.                 'Yes to All' in response to both of those dialog boxes.
  60.     3.  Your uninstall is complete.

  65. B)  UNINSTALLING THE PROGRAM BUT NOT THE LATTICEWORK SOFTWARE GROUP
  66.     1.  Delete the program icon
  67.         a.  From Windows, double-click on the LatticeWork
  68.                 Software icon, to open it.  You should see the
  69.                 "Roxie's Reading Fish" Icon.  Click once on the
  70.                 "Roxie's Reading Fish" icon to highlight it.  
  71.         b.  When the "Roxie's Reading Fish" icon is highlighted,
  72.                 press the Delete key (or select File/Delete).  You
  73.                 will be asked "Are you sure you want to delete the
  74.                 item 'Roxie's Reading Fish'?"  Click on 'Yes.'
  75.     2.  Delete the program files from your hard drive
  76.         a.  From Windows, double-click on the 'Main' group.
  77.                 Then double-click on 'File Manager.'  Find the
  78.                 directory where the "Roxie's Reading Fish" files
  79.                 exist.  If you used the default when installing the 
  80.                 program, the directories will be in:
  81.             c:\lattice\readfish
  82.         b.  Highlight the c:\lattice\readfish directory.  Do 
  83.                 this by first clicking on the 'c' near the top of 
  84.                 the inner window of the File Manager.  You may need
  85.                 to scroll down the list of directories in the c:
  86.                 drive to do so.  Double-click on 'lattice' to open 
  87.                 that directory.  Then click once on 'readfish' to 
  88.                 highlight it.
  89.         c.  When 'readfish' is highlighted, press the Delete key
  90.                 (or select File/Delete).  You will see a dialog box
  91.                 asking if you wish to Delete c:\lattice\readfish?  
  92.                 Click on OK.  Then you will see two more dialog 
  93.                 boxes.  Click on 'Yes to All' in response to both 
  94.                 of those dialog boxes.
  95.     3.  Your uninstall is complete.
